The Holocaust Fund of the Jews from Macedonia, together with the Jewish Community in the Republic of Macedonia commemorated Yom Hashoah – the National Remembrance Day of the Holocaust and Heroism of the State of Israel. The Commemoration took place on 5 May 2016 in the Holocaust Memorial Center of the Jews from Macedonia, where six memorial candles were lit and exhibition on “Tolerance, dialogue and cooperation: Jewish tradition, culture and history, as part of the Macedonian multicultural society” was opened. This exhibition is part of the same project that was implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Science, Bureau for Development of Education and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation.
